Group appointments are ideal for senior and assisted-living communities, families, businesses, organizations, estate-planning signings, and other situations where multiple people need services at one scheduled location.
GROUP SIGNING PRICING — PER PERSON
☆ Group Discounted Travel Fee: $20 per person — Available when two or more clients receive services at the same location during the same scheduled appointment.
☆ Professional Service / Appointment Fee: $40 per person — Includes up to 20 minutes of individual appointment time.
Oregon Notarial Acts: $10 per notarial act
Applicable notarial acts may include:
• Individual Acknowledgment
• Acknowledgment in a Representative Capacity
• Verification on Oath or Affirmation (Jurat)
• Witnessing or Attesting a Signature
• Administering an Oath or Affirmation
• Certifying a Copy, when permitted by Oregon law
The appropriate notarial act is determined by the document or the person requesting the notarization.
A Notary Public cannot select a notarial act or provide legal advice on behalf of a signer.
EXAMPLE GROUP APPOINTMENT
For one person receiving one notarial act:
Group Travel Fee: $20
Professional Service Fee: $40
One Notarial Act: $10
Total: $70 per person
If that person requires two separate notarial acts:
Group Travel Fee: $20
Professional Service Fee: $40
Two Notarial Acts: $20
Total: $80 per person
Additional services, documents, time, parking, tolls, printing, courier services, or other applicable charges may affect the final appointment total.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT: An acknowledgment is used when a signer personally appears before the Notary and acknowledges that they signed the document willingly.
Depending on the document, the signature may have been made before the appointment or may be signed in the Notary’s presence.
VERIFICATION ON OATH OR AFFIRMATION (JURAT): A verification on oath or affirmation involves a sworn or affirmed statement. The Notary administers an oath or affirmation and completes the appropriate notarial certificate.
WITNESSING OR ATTESTING A SIGNATURE: For this notarial act, the signer signs the document in the Notary’s presence and the Notary completes the appropriate notarial certificate.
This is different from serving as an ordinary, non-notarial document witness.
